The guarantees of this insurance cover exclusively, the damages defined in the terms and limits of this article :

1. The material damage caused to the works subject-matter of the intervention of the insured as a result of a total or partial collapse of the structure. This guarantee is limited to the terms and conditions set out in the special agreements and / or in the special conditions of this policy.
2. Expenses incurred, as a precautionary measure without the occurrence of damages, for rectification or repair of a fault or an error in the design and / or the execution of works, constituting an imminent threat of total or partial collapse of the insured works. In this case, the compensation is limited to the amount of expenses actually incurred. However, if it turns out that the latter exceeds the amount of damage that could have occurred if such expenses had not been incurred, the compensation will be equal to the estimated amount of the said damages, determined by expertise. The compensation is, in all cases, conditional on confirmation, by the expertise, of the immediacy of collapse threat.
